This Web service is published by RA-Aus for its members, and for those interested in flying in a friendly environment — just for the sheer fun of it — or in building or buying their own aircraft, or just interested in learning a little about grass-roots aviation. Our aim is to increase airmanship and safety awareness amongst recreational pilots world-wide.

AOPA Australia
is Australia’s largest independent non-profit recreational aviation organisation. AOPA Australia is a member of the International Council of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Associations (IAOPA), who represent over 400,000 pilots globally. AOPA Australia has been a fellowship of flyers and the voice of recreational flying and general aviation in Australia for over 50 years. AOPA Australia is an active group represented by an annually elected Committee and President. AOPA Australia also employs a team of professional staff to provide national representation, membership services and administration support.

Sport Aircraft Association of Australia inc.  An active group of aviation enthusiasts supporting one another in building and flying recreational aircraft.

The Gliding Federation of Australia Inc.

Australian Sports Rotorcraft Association Inc
(ASRA) is a National sport and recreational association, representing people with an interest in gyroplanes in both Government regulations and sporting matters. ASRA is concerned with the improvement of standards of safety, of pilot training and of aircraft.  It aims to promote reasonable and responsible practices in a manner accepted as professional to other aviation bodies and the public, while retaining our own identity, reducing costs and minimising restrictions.
