Temora Flight Training was established by Alan Powlay in 1995 to offer
training at Temora Aero Club. Originally Alan had offered training in
a Thruster during the early days of Recreational Aviation Australia
(RA-Aus) when it was known as the Australian Ultralight Federation
(AUF). From those early days, Alan then moved on to training in a
Gazelle and became CFI of Temora Flight Training in March 2002.
In May 2007 Temora Aero Club purchased a brand new Tecnam Sierra to
offer quality training in a top class aircraft. |

| Temora
Flight Training was established with a commitment to offering top
quality, professional training to the standards outlined by RA-Aus.
Our instructors are committed to maintaining the highest professional
standards of training and attend regular forums as part of this
commitment. Pictured here are some of our pilots at Wings
Night presentations. Our school thrives in the Temora Aero Club
environment, offering a friendly club atmosphere and regular outings
and social get togethers. |

Licensed pilots take a keen interest in encouraging student pilots as
part of our friendly club atmosphere and are happy to take part in
flying activities.
With over 300 members Temora Aero Club has a thriving social scene, with pilots flying all types of aircraft from RA-Aus to GA, ballooning, and gliding under Temora Gliding Club.
A recent change in the structure of Temora Flight Training has seen
Jill Bailey take on the CFI position, with Alan stepping back to enjoy
a more relaxed lifestyle. |
